Let me introduce myself. I'm Beth.
I live in Denver, Colorado. I'm also an avid reader, a world traveler, and an author.
Here’s a little more about my story as a writer and how I got here…
I’ve been an aspiring writer ever since living with famous author, Henry Roth, when I was in the second grade. My mom was a home health care provider and we lived in his house in Albuquerque, NM. By the time we lived with him, Mr. Roth was unable to type on a keyboard due to his advanced rheumatoid arthritis. Watching him dictate his final two novels was inspiring and made me realize that nothing can stop a true writer from telling their stories.
Outside of writing, I have worked in the consulting services industry for twelve years, using my spare time to write poetry and fiction. Like I mentioned above, I live in Denver but originally grew up in Michigan, where I attended Grand Valley State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature. I was published in my college paper, the Grand Valley Lanthorn, as well as winning a poetry contest through Poetry.com.
I am a voracious reader, usually reading a handful of books at a time. I currently have over 300 books on my to-read list.
When I’m not writing or reading, I enjoy trying new vegetarian recipes, watching bad reality TV, and traveling as much as possible. Some of my favorite vacations have been to Paris, London, and cruises to the Caribbean. I would like to one day visit Florence, Italy or anywhere in Greece. In the US, I’d love to see any of the islands of Hawaii and many other states throughout the country.

A little bit more about me....
I was born in a tiny little town called Big Lake, Texas. (I'm a Scorpio)
Reading has always been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I have over 300 books on my Goodreads "Want To Read" list.
One of my life goals is to travel as much as possible. My idea of the perfect vacation is to eat ice cream and take a nap every day.
I live in Denver and absolutely love the mountains.
A few items on my bucket list include sliding down a fire pole, being an extra in a movie, and getting a book published.
I have a Bachelors degree in English Literature with a minor in French (random, I know).
I feel the most ME when I'm relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book.
